Guitar Idol 2011 finalists revealed

The finalists for global talent contest Guitar Idol Live have been announced.

They have been chosen from over a thousand original entries, from all over the world – Singapore, Guatemala, Chile, Canada, Israel, Romania, Russia, Germany, France, Italy, with 17-year-old Jack Gardiner from Liverpool representing the UK.

The Guitar Idol Live Final is part of Lick Library Live and will be held on December 4th at the Relentless Garage, London, between 3.00pm and 10.30pm. Tickets are priced at £15 and this includes a free Lick Library DVD worth over £20, featuring Learn to Play Gary Moore, Van Halen, Rolling Stones, Steve Vai, Lick Library Quick Licks and other guitar techniques DVDs.

The Lick Library live performances and master classes have also been finalised. These Include Lick Library’s co-founder and guitarist Stuart Bull, Andy James, former Joe Satriani pupil Danny Gill, Mike Casswell, and one of the UK’s top rock guitarists, Jamie Humphries.

Tom Quayle, Lick Library and Guitar Interactive contributor will also be performing and holding a free clinic. For more information on ticket availability and the rest of the finalists, click here.
