Game of Thrones composer unveils live tour with full orchestra, choir and 360-degree stage

Game of Thrones composer Ramin Djawadi is putting together a 28-city tour where a full orchestra and choir will perform musical scores from some of the show’s most iconic scenes.

Djawadi has said that he wants to champion little-known instruments and will be highlighting things like the glass harmonica, duduk and dulcimer during the performances.

The arena tour will see Djawadi conduct an 80-piece orchestra and choir on a 360-degree stage.

There will also be LED telescoping and wall screens, as well as 3D designs rising from the stage floor, to depict some of the most iconic GoT scenes on the show so far.

Before the tour takes place, fans will be able to buy a special three-disc gatefold vinyl edition of the music of season 6, which includes a custom laser etching.

The tour will take place across 28 cities in North America, which means UK fans will have to keep their fingers crossed that it proves popular enough for Djawadi to bring his GoT orchestra across the pond.

If you do happen to be in the US next year, the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience kicks off on February 15th in Kansas City’s Spring Center, running through cities such as Chicago, Washington, Toronto, New York, Atlanta, LA, Las Vegas and many more.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Saturday at livenation.com.
