Fender and RGT reveal Learn to Play Day plans

Fender and the RGT (Registry of Guitar Tutors) will once again be supporting National Learn to Play Day, offering free music lessons at the Intu Trafford Centre in Manchester on Saturday, March 12th.

The all-day event will take place in the centre of the shopping complex, outside Cafe Nero in Peel Avenue.

Now in its fifth year, Learn to Play Day will once again be offering more that 12,000 free taster music lessons at more than 120 music venues, schools and shops across the UK in order to get more people playing music.

The Trafford Centre event will offer complete beginners or lapsed players a free 15 minute introductory lesson from a qualified tutor while intermediate to advanced players will have the opportunity to meet the Fender team and try some of the firm’s latest instruments.

Fender and the RGT will be hosting further events at other major UK shopping centres in May and June 2016 with dates and venues to be announced soon.

Full details of the event, including participating venues and local appearances, will be found at www.learntoplayday.com over the coming weeks.
