FBT Audio has announced the VERTUS CLA (Column Line Array), the integration of professional line array technology in a compact speaker column.
The VERTUS is designed to meet the requirements of the most demanding musicians, DJs and architectural installers.
It is comprised of two parts: the CLA 604A bi-amplified two-way active column speakers (400 + 100W RMS) and the CLA 208SA active subwoofer (600W RMS).
The system offers high-level sound quality from 50Hz to 20kHz – specially developed for live performance – long distance sound projection, dynamic power performance thanks to its tri-amplification system, compact dimensions, high horizontal dispersion and it's lightweight and easy to carry.
The CLA604a is fitted with six four-inch custom neodymium woofers and four neodymium dome tweeters, each coupled to a wave guide. Class D amplification, a switch mode power supply, DSP processor and four equalisation presets allow for appropriate sound in any setting.
The CLA 208SA sub features two eight-inch drivers in a bass-reflex-design birch ply enclosure. A Class D amplifier delivers 600 Watts and is matched with a switch mode power supply and DSP processor with filtering functions, equalisation and speaker protection.
