JHS MD, Dennis Drumm, says offers available at the firm's looming dealer Event can really help retailers out in the current recession.
The firm's four-day dealer Event returns for its 16th year between Sunday June 10th and Wednesday June 13th, and the firm expects it to be its biggest to date. Indeed, the firm's MD says product offers, including extended credit terms, can provide a lifeline for canny retailers in the current recession.
JHS's entire MI and pro audio ranges of musical instruments and accessories – totalling more than 4,500 items in all – will be on display for visiting dealers, spearheaded by leading brands such as Fret-King, Vintage, Carlsbro, Studiomaster, Danelectro, Fishman, Italia, HK Audio, Odyssey brasswind, Pilgrim, and more.
The event also offers free food and drink and will be complemented by entertainment for the kids and music from leading players like Dave 'Bucket' Colwell, Raymond Burley, and Stylophone legend Brett Domino, while signature artists like Gordon Giltrap and Graham Oliver will be on hand to speak with guests, as will guitar guru Trev Wilkinson and representatives from other JHS-distributed brands.

JHS managing director Dennis Drumm said: “It’s interesting that in what one could say are challenging times, pre-registrations for JHS Event 2012 are significantly ahead of the curve, which is possibly an indication that more of our customers than ever realise the value that JHS, and our annual customer occasion, can bring to their businesses. We have regulars – some of whom have been every year for the last ten years or more – who tell us Event is integral to their success and growth, there’s dealers who visit more sporadically and, this year, there's many first-time Event visitors.
