The story of Vox amps is told on BBC One next Tuesday in a special documentary, introduced by comedian Iain Lee.
Vox Pop: How Dartford Powered the British Beat Boom is on BBC One South East at 22.35 on Tuesday 29th November. If your default region isn't the South East it will be available on Sky digital channel 983 and then BBC iPlayer for the next week.
In it Iain Lee discovers how the Vox factory in Dartford, helped the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and the Shadows define the sound of the 1960s with its amplifiers. The comedian tells the company's story, with contributions from musicians Brian May and Bruce Welch, along with some of the staff who worked at the Vox factory at the time.
