Casio’s EMI division is to launch an extensive ‘White Label’ Internet support programme designed to assist dealers with their web presentations.
All Casio EMI dealers will now be able to access product presentations with consistent, up-to-date details and info. Casio will also be able to centrally maintain and update the content.
The programme, which is entirely free of charge, offers dealers three options. The first option (Casio EMI Microsite) provides dealers with a comprehensive microsite linked to their current website. This additional site can be branded with the dealer’s logo and contact details but will be maintained centrally by Casio with new product information, news articles etc.
Secondly, the Casio Info Cards option allows dealers to add an ‘info card’ to their current web presentation. When an info card is clicked, this activates a ‘pop up’ window presenting high-quality content, such as specifications, key sales features and product videos.
The third option - access to the asset database – is aimed at ‘Internet savvy’ dealers, offering them the individual assets featured in each of the previous options to create their own Casio presentation.
Stewart Mackenzie of Carlisle-based Rainbow Music, one of the first dealers to adopt the new system, commented: “We have just put the info cards on our site and they are working really well. They look great, have really good content for the customers and were easy to put on our site. With this up graded and more corporate presentation we feel sure this will increase our Casio business. Anything that makes the updating of our website easier is very welcome, so thanks to Casio for this really useful support.”
Andy Carvill, head of Casio’s EMI Division, told Mi Pro: “This is a very important project for the EMI Division and real, practical support for all our dealers. Many dealers simply don’t have time to maintain their websites but with a fully maintained, linked Microsite they don’t have to worry about Casio anymore – we will do it for them. At the other extreme very Internet savvy dealers can use the individual Casio web assets as they wish to create their own unique presentation. For the mid position dealers the ‘Info Card’ option is a very easy way to give potential customers a great Casio product experience.
“It is also possible to mix and match as required. So for example you may want to use the info cards on your website, but also access individual assets, product videos for example, for another use. Given this is all available free of charge this is a very positive proposition for all our dealers’.
