Following the successful launch of its XW range, Casio has launched its Turn Up Your Noise synthesizer competition.
The winner will receive an XW-P1 synthesiser and get the opportunity to perform on the G-Shock bus at the Relentless Boardmasters Festival 2012 in Newquay, Cornwall.
Participants are required to prepare and submit a three-minute video of them playing an original song or original version of a cover. By visiting the Casio Facebook page and clicking on the Turn Up Your Noise tab, entrants will be able to upload their video and allow friends and family to vote for their favourite. Voting begins on July 22nd and the winner will be picked by a panel of judges.
The competition is part of Casio’s drive to support new talent, which all started with the launch of its Synth Sessions last week in London, with performances from the likes of Bright Light Bright Light, DEMS, Engine Earz Experiment and Artful.
The series of live events will continue throughout the year, providing a platform for up-and-coming talent to play alongside more established musicians.
