Black Stone Cherry frontman Chris Robertson has been using two 45-Watt Budda Superdrive Series 2 heads for the USA leg of the band's world tour.
“On the Budda amps I’m using pretty much everything – I have all the buttons pushed in,” said Robertson. “I’m also using the Budda footswitch for the channels on the amp; my pedalboard is actually one of the simplest you’ll ever see – nothing too complicated; it’s just a guitar and an amp, and you can make it sound good!”
Fellow guitarist Ben Wells is also a fan of Budda, and still uses one of the firm's early Wah models for all his live work.
“I was given my Budda Wah some time ago by one of the founders of the company,” Wells explained. “It’s one of the originals, and sounds great; I really love it.”
The band recently completed its European tour using a range of Peavey amps.
