BBC Music Introducing launches Amplify music event for aspiring musicians and producers

BBC Music Introducing has joined forces with SME London to create a brand new music event aimed at helping aspiring artists, musicians, producers, engineers and managers break into the industry.

The three-day event takes place in London in October and host 150 masterclasses, 250 speakers and over 150 exhibitors.

Amplify will feature expert talks from well known figures in the music industry, including Annie Mac, Jo Whiley, Steve Lamacq, MistaJam, Jamie Cullum, and Phil Taggart.

There will be numerous talks from artists, record labels, radio stations, promotions companies, commissioners, producers and more.

Sessions including: How to write a hit record, From my bedroom to Ibiza, Grime is the new DIY, How to get a million streams and From garage to venue stage.

There will also be an Advice Clinic and performances on the Introducing Bandstands.

“From Pop to Punk, Garage to Grime, Indie to Instrumental, Amplify is the first of its kind, imparting wisdom and advice from the UK’s leading music experts to help discover and create the next generation of stars,” said the organisers.

Amplify takes place at London Excel between October 6th and 8th.
