Audio Technica adds headphones to trial scheme

Audio Technica is to extend its popular First Impressions microphone trial scheme to include several of the company’s best hi-fi and studio headphone models.

To celebrate the first anniversary of First Impressions, AT will add the ATH-M50, ATH-W1000X and ATH-W5000 headphones to the roster, allowing users to trial the models, free of charge, for a two-week period.

The extended trial scheme enables users to make informed purchase decisions and, if they decide to buy the AT product they have trialed, save money with a discount voucher included as part of the deal. The voucher is redeemable at a participating Audio-Technica dealer and valid for three months. Headphones and voucher are supplied by Audio-Technica from its Leeds office.

The scheme has benefits for both dealers and end users. Open only to qualifying ‘bricks and mortar’ retailers, First Impressions drives business to high street stores, supporting Audio-Technica’s dealer network across the UK.

A dedicated section of the Audio Technica website details all participating First Impressions retailers and directs customers to these stores to redeem the discount voucher. Participating retailers simply have to send any redeemed vouchers to Audio-Technica to receive a full credit for the voucher amount onto their trading account.

Full details of the First Impressions programme can be found on the AT website here.
