Arturia reveals MatrixBrute pricing and ETA

Arturia has revealed UK pricing and shipping details of its new MatrixBrute analogue synthesizer.

Launched at NAMM 2016, the MatrixBrute analogue synth features three ‘Brute’ oscillators, Steiner-Parker and ladder filters, three ultra-fast envelope generators and a selection of analogue effects, and a modulation matrix.

Expected to his shelves in late May, it will come with an RRP of £1,619 inc VAT.

MatrixBrute users can assign any of 16 modulation sources to any of 16 modulation destinations (in MOD mode) and set the amounts of each modulation routing using the dedicated data encoder; four such destinations are user programmable and can clearly be seen in the eye-catching E Ink (Electronic Ink) display. The matrix also allows presets to be recalled at the touch of a dedicated button (in PRESET mode), while users can also select one of the 256 pre-programmed presets or recall one of theor own original sound creations. And, it offers the ability to save each patch.

Furthermore, the matrix can be pressed into action as a 64-step sequencer with separate STEP, ACCENT, SLIDE, and MODULATION options (in SEQ mode).
