Arts Council seeks new Take it Away dealers

New applications are now being taken for MI retailers in England to join the Take it Away scheme.

Run by the Arts Council in partnership with Moneyway, the initiative aims to make musical instruments more accessible to young people by providing interest free loans to spread the cost. It is now offered through a network of over 300 MI retailers across England and funding is currently confirmed until March 2013. The scheme was recently changed to make under 18s eligible, as previously it was only available to customers between 18 and 25 years of age.
