Seymour Duncan, one of the world’s foremost guitar pickup and effects pedal manufacturers presented Aria Distribution, the UK branch of the Japanese guitar manufacturer, with its International Distributor of the Year Award.
The presentation took place at the recent Winter NAMM Show, held in Anaheim, California and was presented by Seymour Duncan's CEO, Cathy Carter Duncan. As well as sales achievement, the annual award recognises a high level of co-operation between Seymour Duncan and its International distributors.
Commenting on the award Duncan said: "The UK has always held a special place in this company's heart. It was in the early 70s at the Fender Sound House that Seymour first cut his teeth as a guitar repairman. And it was there that he met Jeff Beck and his career took off. Having an enthusiastic and engaged trading partner such as Aria Distribution is key for us to maintain our presence in the UK market as the leader in our product category. Congratulations to Martin, Gareth, James and all at Aria Distribution."
In response, Martin Hartwell, the MD of Aria Distribution said: "It’s always a pleasure to receive recognition of the hard work we invest in our lines, but more importantly this cannot be achieved without the support of our dealer network. Cathy has assembled one of the highest performing teams in our industry and it’s a joy to be working together. There are now ten Seymour Duncan pedals available and with no less than ten new pickups launched at the show, we are looking forward to another great year."
