The Analogue to Digital Music Expo, hosted by Sound Gallery Studios, is due to take place on Saturday March 19th at Exeter Phoenix.
This event will give musicians, DJs and recording enthusiasts of all levels the opportunity to try out the latest technology in the music production, recording, software and hardware sectors, as well as meet world-renowned music industry experts, engineers and producers.
A total of over 800 visitors are expected to attend and over 20 major music technology companies will be present at the show, which will also feature a prize draw that will give people the chance to win equipment and software worth over £5,000.
The event will be held over three floors dedicated to rolling workshops, demos, new product releases, along with reviews and master classes on a variety of topics, such as digital recording and production, guitar and bass technology and much more.
An extensive lineup of exhibitors has also been revealed, which includes Time & Space, Allen and Heath, Avid, Yamaha, Shure and Mansons Guitars.
"This is the show we feel the music industry needs as it gives real networking opportunities for both companies and musicians. We are very excited that the industry is behind us and we will be announcing more details as the list of exhibitors, artists, producers and sound engineers expands,” said Jim Peters, managing director of Sound Gallery.
The Analogue to Digital Music Industry Panel has also been expanded, with the inclusion of Lee Fletcher, Paul Gray and John Leckie, who has produced for Radiohead, Muse, The Coral and The Stone Roses.
The workshop topics – that have also been recently announced – are Computers Live, Digital Recording, Soft Synths, Guitar & Bass Guitar Technology and Multimedia.
Tickets are priced at £6 (or £5 in advance) and can be bought from here. The event will run from 10:30am-4pm and will be located at: Exeter Phoenix, Gandy Street, Exeter, EX4 3LS.
