Airbnb launches competition to spend a night at Abbey Road Studios with Mark Ronson

Airbnb and Abbey Road have teamed up to offer four members of the public the chance to sleep over at the iconic recording studio.

Producer Mark Ronson has been thrown in to host the slumber party and offer advice and perhaps even help record a few ideas for the guests.

For one night only, a bedroom with be installed in Studio 3, with the lucky guests being given access to the entire complex and permission to use an of the gear scattered about the place.

“Walk the hallowed halls and tap your fingers on the keys of John Lennon’s piano, still marked with cigarette burns dating back to the recordings of The White Album. Feel the reverberation of the cymbal shot that set pace for Tony and Amy’s duet. Count “Time” on the Dark Side of the Schiedmayer Celesta, or just get lost in the knobs and buttons of the studio’s famed mixing board,” reads the Abbey Road Studios Airbnb page.

“And if you’re moved, then make your own music history. Harmonise on the fire escape, or jam on the Persian rugs. Grab your instrument of choice, unleash your inner Winehouse, and ask your host - who just so happens to be one of the best producers of our day - for some advice.”

To enter for a chance to win a night at the studio, all you have to do head to the Abbey Road Airbnb page, click on ‘enter to win’ and tell them which song’s recording you mist wish you’d witnessed at Abbey Road.

All entries must be in by 11:59pm BST on 6th October 2016 and the sleep over takes place on 15th October for one night.
