Rob Last promoted to publisher of Future’s music-making group

Former ad director of automotive portfolio will publish titles such as Total Guitar
Future, the leading consumer music-making publisher has announced the promotion of Rob Last to publisher of its music-making group.
The music-making portfolio includes Computer Music, Future Music, Guitarist, Guitar Techniques, Rhythm, Total Guitar, and MusicRadar.com, as well as the newly launched Guitarist Presents and forthcoming Producer Sessions Live and London Music Show.
Last joined the group as associate publisher in November 2008, having previously worked in the automotive portfolio as ad director and across a number of portfolios at Future for 13 years.
In this newly created role, Last will report to publishing director Mia Walter and will primarily be responsible for publishing Computer Music, Future Music and Rhythm magazines as well as developing Future’s multiplatform approach, leading the new launch of the Producer Sessions Live event in September. Run by Computer Music and Future Music, this event is set to be an important date for hi-tech music producers, with two days of tutorials, gear demos and essential advice for upcoming producers.
