Source Distribution has announced two new promotions across Universal Audio and Rode mic products – a free UAD2 Solo DSP plugin card with every UA 710 Twinfinity Preamp and a money back guarantee on Røde mics.
The UA offer is based on the idea that, for a recording musician, there are two essential pieces of kit for a home or project studio – a high quality preamp, and a top quality selection of plugins. With this in mind, it is helping to soften the financial blow of acquiring both by giving away the single-processor PCIe card – worth £399 – with it’s popular and award-winning preamp. The 710 Twinfinity combines both the classic retro warmth of tubes with the transient bite of solid-state in a 2U, half-rack unit. The 710 was created specifically to add the tonal versatility and sonic inspiration missing from generic audio interface preamps.
Tone blending is continually variable between 100 per cent tube and 100 per cent solid-state, offering a wide range of unique preamp tones and the ability to easily dial in a signature sound.
To qualify for this offer, customers need to purchase a UA 710 preamp before March 31st from participating dealers in the UK or Ireland, which will provide them with their free UAD2 Solo card.
Source has also announced that Røde is offering a money back guarantee on all mics purchased between February and June this year. Any Røde microphone purchased between February and June 2010 from a participating dealer can be returned directly to Røde Microphones for a full return of the price paid for the microphone.
To qualify for the money back guarantee the customer must register their purchase at rodemic.com/moneyback within seven days of purchase. Following registration the customer has a 60-day period in which they can claim the money back guarantee by re-visiting the website.
