UK source offers leads for PRS jamAmp
Retailers being asked for the unique three-way lead needed to make PRS's innovative jamAmp work with iPhones now have an answer to hand, courtesy of distributor DFD. The PRS jamAmp application, which turns the iPhone into a multitasking tuner, looper, phrase trainer and much more, needs a special three-way lead, says, DFD's Tony Westcott, which dealers have been enquiring about, as they have been unable to source a suitable product to offer their customers. PRS does offer a lead, he says, but via the company's US website, where it sells for $29.88 plus shipping, duty and VAT.
"We've made up a special lead to do the job, using the finest components," Westcott says. "It uses high grade cable, repairable Neutrik connectors and proper strain relief. It's also hand assembled in the UK - it's not a cheap Chinese product."
The cable will retail for £24.99, with a generous trade margin and there is no minimum order, Westcott says.
