Former Elixir man joins as sales manager for northern region

D’Addario UK has made a further addition to its growing sales team, following its official launch on January 18th. Bruce Falconer has joined D’Addario to manage sales in its northern region. He begins work immediately, working in partnership with John Miller, D'Addario's internal sales manager (north).

Falconer joins D’Addario from WL Gore where he was European sales manager for Elixir strings and cables, having been instrumental in the brand’s continued growth across Europe during the last six years. Prior to working on the Elixir project, Falconer was involved in a number of other well known consumer brands outside MI such as Glide dental floss, Seriously Strong and Galloway cheddar.

"I am delighted to have appointed Bruce,” commented D’Addario UK's managing director, Simon Turnbull.

"He has a great deal of experience directly applicable to MI accessories. We plan to utilise his expertise in sales, merchandising, training and brand building to the fullest extent. D’Addario UK will be focusing very strongly on marketing, merchandising and supporting its products, particularly at dealer level, so to have Bruce on board is extremely pleasing.”

“I am thrilled to be joining a company with such a great history in the music industry and one which has done so much to develop the strings and accessories category,” added Falconer.

Falconer can be contacted on 07786 528020 or via email here.

Hi Sue, fair cop! www.andersonguitars.com/whatstrings.html
Now about seriously strong cheddar- do you think they have changed the recipe for their spread over the past year and what are your views on the new chilly and smoked varieties?
