UK-made guitar hanger gains national distribution
'What's invisible and hangs off walls?' isn't a riddle from one of this year's Christmas crackers - it's a description of a new UK-made translucent guitar hanger which has just been taken on by distributor DFD.
Called Woodies Guitar Hanger, it is a nearly invisible, moulded plastic device which allows guitars to be hung for display from just about any location - even ceilings, says DFD's Tony Westcott.
Available in three models, there's a Woodies Hanger suitable for most guitars - including straight headstock models (including Fenders), angled headstock guitars (Les Pauls and PRS models) and guitars with rear-mounted strap button, such as SGs.
Already featured in consumer publications such as Guitarist and Guitar Techniques, DFD says interest is high in the new product, which will sell for a suggested £14.99 apiece, with a healthy trade markup.

I use them in my shop Off the Wall Music in So. Oregon, USA. Saw them at NAMM and I have already re-order. Nothing like it in the world, and it solves several problems the current wall hangers create for shops that hang guitars.
My customers love 'em.
