UK designed power amplifiers promise a mass of features and value for money
Citronic has launched a new range of power amplifiers for the live, DJ and installation markets under the moniker of MA.
The MA series of amps are reliable workhorses for high powered applications and provide a true power output with the most accurate sound reproduction.
The range comprises three models: the 800-Watt MA 800 (400W stereo), the 1,300-Watt MA 1000 (650W stereo)and the 2,000-Watt MA 2000 (1,000W stereo – all the power ratings are measured at four Ohms), all of which feature genuine RMS output per channel into four Ohms, balanced line inputs (XLR and 6.3mm jack) and link outs (XLR), active clip limiter internally configurable between max and off, Class AB Mosfet output stage, DC thermal and short circuit protection, Speakon sockets and fan cooling with proportional speed fan (with twin fans on the MA2000).
The 2U modules also have mains inrush current limiter and soft start, front panel switchable LED illumination, dual ten-segment LED VU displays and promise outstanding sound quality, thanks to their sturdy UK design – all of which goes towards a package that offers exceptional value.
