New modern retro guitars feature original swivel rosewood bridge

Danelectro has reissued the Hornet ‘Dead On ‘67’ guitars.

Available in a selection of 60’s colours, the Hornets feature satin finish bodies with 'zero gloss' nickel hardware, double action truss rods that offer easy adjustment at the headstock end, full 25-inch scale length, 21 fret necks and authentic style plastic mini button tuners.

Also featured, is the original Danelectro swivel rosewood bridge that intonates and the original Danelectro type vibrato, ideal for surf-inspired instrumentals. As with all Danelectro guitars, at the heart of its sound are the alnico-powered single coil Lipstick pickups, which, in this case have been modified for higher output and warmer tones.

The new guitars are available in black, butterscotch, cobalt blue, limey green, agent orange and red finishes, and will retail at £289. A baritone version is also now available in limey green, cobalt blue and black finishes, with a retail price of £319.

Danelectro is distributed exclusively in the UK by John Hornby Skewes. For more information, visit: www.jhs.co.uk.
