Happening accompanied by impressive supplier, service and manufacturer roster
This year, the annual JHS Event, held on site at the company’s Garforth head office and warehouse premises, takes place from June 21st to 24th. Event is now established as one of the major trade shows on the UK MI calendar and this year will see the largest contingent yet of manufacturers and suppliers’ representatives present at the show, to meet, speak and discuss their products with retailers and members of the specialist UK music press – a useful indicator of how seriously manufacturers and suppliers rate the potential of Event.
For Event 2009, these include…
Larry Fishman (pictured) and Joe Barbieri of Fishman Acoustic Amplification
Kustom Amplification’s Ted Burger
Erjan van der Laan from Dunlop Manufacturing
Allen & Heath’s Bob Goleniowski and Martin Daley
US Danelectro clinician/demo artist, Danny Dugan
Manuel Rodriguez Jr, Rodriguez Guitars
Trevor Wilkinson, TWDA
Mike Hrano and Neil Harris from Facelift/Rockano Productions
Seiko UK’s Steve Bradd
James Kitchen and Christophe Lagrange, Diago Pedal Boards
Art Alcocer from Fort Bryan straps
HK Audio’s Christian Stumpp and Andreas Mayerl
Paul and Mary Thiemann of String Swing
Willie Kim from Wikim International
Also with a stand will be the team from Retail Up, offering advice and services for all things web and e-tail.
As ever, the annual JHS Event offers the first opportunity for music dealers and the music press to assess the many new product additions being introduced to the JHS catalogue. Dealers and press can also take the opportunity to discuss these items with the above representatives who will be on site to assist with such queries and information.
The JHS Event 2009 will offer its uniquely informal mix of business and socialising.
Held at the JHS Garforth head office site, Event is easily accessible at literally two minutes’ journey from M1 Junction 47. Garforth is on the main rail link to the East Coast, and regular passenger pick-ups are available from nearby Leeds/Bradford and Manchester airports.
With a diverse list of product demonstrations from HK Audio’s mighty Cohedra line array concert sound PA system to Odyssey brass, music presentations and entertainment will again feature heavily on the Event schedule, with demo artists performing in regular slots over the four-day duration of the trade-only show – some scheduled, some impromptu.
