MIA reports high LIMS ticket sales
With only days to go until the opening of this year's London International Music Show, the organisers have announced that advance consumer ticket sales have now "exceeded all expectations" and that despite the gloomy economic climate, sales are now "well up on last year."
The organisers add that with the addition of many 'on the day' sales also expected, the signs look good for a high public atendance. The two Steve Vai Master classes have completely sold out.
Commenting on the news MIA president Jon Gold said, “This is really encouraging news and it's equally pleasing to see that Trade registrations are also looking very healthy and retailers, manufacturers and distributors from all over the country are beginning to recognise the importance of this show to both the industry in general and their individual businesses.
"It's about bringing all facets of the industry together, to share ideas, initiatives and to identify business opportunities that will enable us to be stronger as an industry and allow individual business’s to thrive.
"I would urge anyone who hasn’t yet decided on joining us at Excel to do so, as in these challenging times there are opportunities and I can guarantee that there will be many at this year's Lims so don’t miss out!”
