Casio Privia range expands

New PX-320 now shipping – and could be yours for free
The latest addition to the Casio Privia range is now shipping and, according to the Japanese electronics giant, is powerful enough to support any end user need from live performances to intimate creative sessions.
The PX-320 has 128-note maximum polyphony, a new sound source for acoustic piano sound and expression, and stereo-sampled tri-element AIF sound source, which gives high-precision stereo sampling of a grand piano, combined with an original new filter system to produce sounds that modulate naturally from the moment a key is pressed until the note decays.
Besides being an almost guaranteed earner for dealers, Casio is also offering a free PX-320 exclusively to MI Pro readers. Page 59 of the latest (July) issue of the mag has a (remarkably easy) PX-320 crossword puzzle, which dealers are invited to fill in. Once complete, five highlighted squares on the crossword create an anagram, which dealers are invited to solve and email the answer to casio@intentmedia.co.uk.
Sound complicated? It isn’t. It’s actually as easy to do as it is to use a Casio piano.
