John Rogers helps expand overseas market for Vivo2 electric violin
Among announcements made at the London International Music Show was that of a US and Canada distribution agreement by Ted Brewer Violins
The company took the opportunity at LIMS to announce that JR Music Supply, based in Rhode Island, had obtained sole distributor rights for the US and Canada for the Vivo2 electric violin.
Ted Brewer Violins are being assisted by John Rogers to expand their overseas markets. Rogers commented: “I think that this is the first of many distributor agreements we can arrange for this high quality electric violin.”
J R Music added: “we are delighted to have come to this arrangement to distribute the stunning Vivo2. We think this is the most advanced electric violin on the market and we think that it will be a hit in States.”
Brewer has been designing and making violins since 1993, constantly developing designs and experimenting with new technologies and features.
He produces around 25 handmade instruments each year, and the Vivo2 marks a departure into more widely available violins.
The Vivo2 uses a Monocoque frame composed of advanced polymers and an ebony fingerboard and chin rest, with a carbon fibre bridge, aluminium tailpiece and Grover tuners which enable ease of tuning. Brewer’s own designed microprocessor controlled piezo pickup provides a unique sound.

Great to read that Ted Brewer has announced a new distribution contract for USA and Canada. His instruments are stylish and opens up new markets for us all.
Well done and lets hope that this is the start of many good news stories for TB and others. We should be proud of what we can achieve in these difficult times.
