Paul McCartney signs a new Vox AC15 for the No More Landmines charity

Vox will shortly be placing a new Vox AC15H1TV amplifier, signed by Sir Paul McCartney onto ebay in aid of the No More Landmines charity.

Vox amps have been rocking the world for over five decades and have been behind the sound of countless bands through the years, probably the best known and loved being the Beatles.

The hand-wired AC15H1TV combines original circuitry with the latest technology in order to (as the company puts it) “transport you through the golden age of Vox tone”, as well as being useful for modern guitarists.

After signing the new amp, McCartney asked Vox to put it up for auction with all proceeds going to the UK-based, anti-landmine charity that raises funds to free communities throughout the world from the threat of unexploded weapons of war.

The auction goes live on June 9th – and Vox would love it if you would get bidding and do a little good to boot.
