Limited edition instrument to be hand signed by Hank Marvin and Bruce Welch
Burns Guitars has announced the release of its new special edition Apache guitar.
The instrument has been produced to celebrate the Shadows 50th Anniversary – 1958 to 2008 – and will be available as a strict limited edition of 500 guitars only.
Each guitar will come with a numbered certificate of authenticity, hand signed by Hank Marvin and Bruce Welch and embossed with gold leaf to prevent un-authorised copying. A unique serial number, engraved on the back plate of the instrument will correspond with the certificate issued.
This unique guitar will have a number of special features including a figured flame maple neck with a pearl bound ebony fingerboard.
The word Apache will be inlaid in mother of pearl on the 12th fret and all hardware, including the Burns Rez-o-tube tremolo unit will be gold plated and engraved with the Apache emblem and the signatures of Marvin and Welch.
Other features include special issue Burns Rez-o-matik pickups, locking Sperzal machine heads, locking strap nuts, pearl finish pick-guards, Burns fitted case, leather strap and tool kit.
