Awards bash gets national coverage in housewives favourite
With the success of this years MIA Awards still ringing in the ears of its organisers, OK magazine covered the sparkling ceremony with a report on the night, held on October 11th at the Savoy.
Performances from Doyle Dykes and Rick Wakeman entertained over 300 guests on the night, which saw the industry get together to celebrate the year with some style.
Rob Castle, MIA President commented: "Many people have said that this year's awards were the best ever, we really did come together to celebrate the best of our industry." commented MIA president Rob Castle. "The success of the evening is another sign of the great progress we have made in transforming the Association. With good awards, a new charity for the whole industry, a new show for the whole industry, many new initiatives and new blood, the MIA is delivering more than ever before."
