Amp specialist releases new jack-to-USB audio interface for guitarists and bassists.
Peavey has announced the Xport, an ultra-portable 1/4" jack-to-USB audio interface for electric guitar and bass.
Xport uses a standard USB cable to connect a guitar to a computer or laptop and its high-quality ASIO and Core Audio drivers offer solid performance for both Windows and Mac OS X users. Featuring both headphone and line outputs, the Xport is designed to provide musicians with a simple digital recording solution.
It comes with Peavey ReValver amp modelling software, a virtual amplifier that "captures the true tone characteristics of vacuum tubes," as well as REAPER digital audio workstation software, an advanced multi-track audio production and recording package for Windows and OS X.
