TC Electronic announces Ditto looper pedal

The new Ditto Looper from TC Electronic

Adding to its line of mini pedals, TC Electronic has announced the all-new Ditto Looper, designed specifically for guitarists.

TC Electronic has just announced the all-new Ditto Looper pedal designed specifically for guitarists.

The Ditto Looper gives guitarists five minutes of 24-bit uncompressed super-high audio looping time with unlimited overdubs and undo/redo functionality all housed in a pedal small enough to fit on the most cramped pedalboards.

For tone purists, the pedal is true bypass and comes with an analog dry-through, so that when it isn't engaged, it isn't coloring your guitar's natural tone.

“At TC HQ we really wanted to understand looping before we went to market with the Ditto Looper,” says Tore Mogensen, product manager for guitar at TC Electronic. ”I mean, people do amazing things with looper pedals, but you almost need a degree in rocket science to make sense of all the functionalities. I think the Ditto Looper is going to find its way into the heart of guitarists everywhere quickly. It’s non-intimidating, super-simple and intuitive, has a great price, sounds killer and does what you want right out of the box."

The Ditto Looper is controlled via one loop level knob, while all looping functions are accessed via a series of simple foot commands. You press once to record, press once again to play the loop. Press once to add another layer of sounds. You press and hold to undo a layer and press and hold again to redo. Press twice to stop, after which you can press and hold to clear the loop.

The pedal will be publically available on 1st March with an RRP of £105. For more information and a product demo, check out the TC Electronic page.
