NAMM 2017: Korg unveils full-size ARP Odyssey FS synthesizer

New colours announced for Krome, Krono and MS-20 Mini synths and TM 50 tuner.

Korg has announced that a limited edition full-sized ARP Odyssey will be on show at NAMM 2017.

As an alternative to the 86% size ARP Odyssey with its compact slim keyboard, Korg has created the ARP Odyssey FS.

This full-size model features a spacious panel layout with faders that are smooth to operate, and a standard-sized keyboard for excellent playability.

The new model’s weight and essence are the precise image of the original ARP Odyssey. Just like its original version, the instrument is assembled in the United States.

Players will be able to choose from three designs: Rev1, Rev2, or Rev3, with only a small number of each is being produced.

The price is expected to be around £1,299 and it will be available in February 2017.

Korg has also announced new models and colours for a number of other products, including the Krome Music Workstation, which will now be available in a limited-edition platinum-colour model.

The Kronos 88-key model Music Workstation is also getting a new limited edition colour, this time in gold. And the MS-20 mini monophonic synthesizer will now be available in white.

Last but not least, the TM-50 tuner/metronome is now available in an all-new red finish.
