NAMM 2017: GTC signs ADG as distie, will showcase REVPAD multi-FX unit at this year's show

The REVPAD will be shipping in early February with an RRP of £1,199.

Audio Distribution Group has added GTC Sound Innovations to its stable of distributed products.

Based in Haifa, Israel, and spearheaded by passionate pro musicians and engineers, GTC’s vision for the future of music started to unfurl back in 2008 when the foundation for what was to become the REVPAD was put in place.

Mixing widely used touch technology with beautifully crafted effects algorithms, the REVPAD ushers in a new era for the musicians who like to use effects as a vehicle for their creativity.

Easily attached to a guitar, or any other amplified instrument, the REVPAD gives players the ability to seamlessly and wirelessly activate, blend or momentarily trigger the built-in effects as well as external effect units in and out of the mix, creating an all new creative environment and way for musicians to express themselves with their instrument.

Where other multi-FX units like to claim that they’ll take your sound to the next level, GTC believes the REVPAD is currently the only effects unit in existence that will truly take your performance and sound there and beyond.

REVPAD features include:

– 30+ world-class effects - from classic delay, modulation and reverb to wildly-innovative arpeggiator, tap and harmony effects.
– Pristine Analog Drive and Distortion circuit - warm, organic tones with unprecedented digital control.
– Expression and MIDI out - for wireless control of 3rd party effects.
– 9V 1200mA operation (PSU is included).

GTC Sound Innovations sales & marketing manager Oded Elboim said: “GTC is both delighted and excited to appoint ADG as our distribution partner in Europe.

We carefully looked at several potential partners for the region and in the end, ADG was a natural choice for us. With their highly experienced personnel, both in sales and marketing activities, we strongly believe that ADG can give us extensive coverage in Europe with their vast knowledge of all the key aspects we were searching for.”

Steve Russell ADG’s CEO added: “Audio Distribution Group is very proud to be representing GTC Sound Innovations exclusively in Europe and it’s fantastic to see their REVPAD platform finally being available to retailers and customers in our territories. The REVPAD is simply a game changer for guitarists worldwide and I’m really looking forward to seeing how users harness the creative aspects of this new technology in their music over the coming years.”

The REVPAD will be shipping in early February with an RRP of £1,199. GTC will be showing off unit at NAMM at booth 5298.
