NAMM 2017: EarthQuaker Devices launches 6 new pedals including the Space Spiral - its first lo-fi delay

As well as the new Space Spiral, five faithful EQD pedals have all been updated with top-mounted jacks and soft-touch relay switching systems.

At the Winter NAMM show today, EarthQuaker Devices will be launching six new products, which will all be shipping shortly in the UK from ADG/Filling alliance.

The brand new Space Spiral is EQD's first venture into the world of lo-fi delays. Built around an old-school delay chip typically found in old karaoke machines and featuring a high-powered modulation section, the Space Spiral instantly echoes the past with organic smeary repeats that dance and sway their way through the air-waves.

From fluttery ambient tape echoes, to drippy oil-can delays and mad modulated repeats you just have to hear to believe, it's all available in this new supersonic space endeavour by ever-adventurous EarthQuaker Devices.

EQD’s Space Spiral pedal is available now with an RRP of £199.

As well as the new pedal, EQD is giving five other products a modern update.

The Cloven Hoof V2, Hoof V2, Levitation V2, Organizer V2 and the Bit Commander V2 will now feature top-mounted jacks, plus an updated high-quality soft-touch relay switching system for dead-silent and effortless on-stage operation, along with enhanced long-term durability.

In addition, the Levitation V2 and Organizer V2 have received circuit updates for even better performance and a lower noise-floor.

All V2 models are available now with the following pricing:

Cloven Hoof V2 – £179
Hoof V2 – £179
Levitation V2 – £189
Organizer V2 – £189
Bit Commander V2 – £189
