NAMM 2016: TC-Helicon reveals Perform-V vocal processor

A simple solution for singers

TC-Helicon's Perform-V is designed to offer performing vocalists a simple, intuitive solution.

New unit designed to offer simple and intuitive solution for singers.

TC-Helicon has released its most intuitive vocal processor yet in the form of the Perform-V.

The Perform-V vocal processor is designed to remove the obstacles singers can sometimes face during live performance performance by providing easy control of ‘tried-and-true’ vocal sounds, whilst it expertly polishes the production values via intelligent Tone functions (Adaptive EQ, Compression, De-essing and Gating), automatic mic input gain, pitch correction and anti-feedback algorithms.

Using Perform-V is as simple as plugging in a mic, and it snaps directly onto the mic stand.

For singers wanting to go beyond the essential sounds included in the box, TC-Helicon serves up hundreds of additional vocal sounds for free download, using sister company TC Electronic’s  proprietary technology (known from their TonePrint app) to send presets directly from a smartphone to Perform-V, without the need for accessories or a wireless/Bluetooth connection.

Available now, the Perform-V retails at £145.

TC-Helicon sister company TC Electronic has so far introduced three new pedals at NAMM 2016 – the BonaFide Buffer, SpectraComp Bass Compressor and Ditto X4 Looper.
