New Minifooger stomp boxes announced for guitar and bass.
Moog has lifted the lid on a new range of analogue effects stomp boxes for guitar and bass.
The newly launched Minifooger line of effects boxes is comprised of five models - the MF Drive, MF Boost, MF Delay, MF Ring Modulator and MF Tremolo - that come housed in a cast aluminium enclosure and feature a 100 per cent analogue signal path, true bypass design, optional battery power and a single expression pedal input for hands-free control of one specified parameter within each unit.
Each Minifooger’s interface is engineered to allow players to create new effects quickly, with a dedicated expression pedal input that offers control over a function and enables the player to go beyond the panel settings to explore with more experimental sounds.
“We have been working on designs for a line of highly engineered analog effects pedals that are affordable, compact, and easy to use for some time. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and hope that guitar and bass players are too,” commented Mike Adams, president of Moog Music.
“We want people to approach these pedals from an aural standpoint. The sonic capabilities of Minifoogers are extensive, but they are also easy to use. You can just close your eyes, turn knobs, and create modern, vintage, or other worldly sounds,” added Cyril Lance, chief engineer, Moog Music.
