Introduced to replace the Audio Kontrol 1, this new piece of kit offers greater connectivity, improved audio performance and a number of new practical features, complemented by a versatile software package for music production and DJing.
It offers four balanced analog inputs and outputs, as well as a digital S/PDIF stereo I/O and integrated MIDI interface, making it an ideal centerpiece for a wide range of setups. With its 24-bit/96kHz Cirrus Logic converters, Komplete Audio 6 delivers excellent audio quality, while Mac OS X and Windows audio drivers enable robust low-latency performance.
This device is suitable for multiple recording situations, thanks to its dual microphone preamps with XLR connectors and phantom power, individually switchable hi-Z inputs for electric guitar and bass, assignable headphone section and flexible zero-latency direct monitoring function with mono switch.
A large analog volume control on the top allows users to easily adjust the main output level and this completely bus-powered interface is also housed within a durable aluminium enclosure, complete with 15 LEDs for convenient signal monitoring.
Komplete Audio 6 comes with a software package, which consists of Komplete Elements, an instruments and effects collection offering over 1,000 studio-grade sounds, Traktor 2 LE, which is based on the latest Traktor Pro generation and the Cubase 5 LE sequencer from Steinberg.
