Fibonacci Guitars unveils new Diablo model

The Diablo will be available from October 1st 2017.

Fibonacci Guitars has unveiled its latest model, the Diablo – a 350 x 56 mm, parallel braced, archtop guitar with a Florentine cut-away.

Produced with a spruce soundboard, maple back and sides, and a one-piece mahogany neck, the Diablo is complemented with solid flame maple binding throughout.

The bridge, finger-rest and tailpiece are all hand crafted in solid Indian ebony with each floating bridge individually custom fitted to the arched top, thus ensuring the transmission from each string ringing true.

Finished in a red sienna sunburst with nitrocellulose lacquer, the Diablo comes fitted with a single 'set-in' Kent Armstrong 12-pole Magnum black humbucker as standard.

The Diablo is completely hand wired in shielded, steel braided cable, for increased performance and stability. The Kent Armstrong humbucker is complemented with a Spraug 0.15 capacitor. The pots on the guitar are a combination of 500k audio sweep CTS and Bournes, with push/pull switching. This allows the player the additional flexibility in utilising the series/parallel wired humbucker for an increased variety of tones.

The Diablo is fitted throughout in black hardware, and F-holes are designed using the same distinctive shape found on Fibonacci’s Chiquita model. Thus giving this robust and versatile archtop a distinctive, and noteworthy, contemporary vibe.

The Fibonacci Diablo has an RRP of £2,099 and will be available from October 1st 2017.
