Swedish manufacturer's new HD bass head offers better low frequency response and more headroom than the original HD350 model.
The HD360 bass head from Swedish manufacturer EBS has arrived in the UK.
The replacement for the HD350 includes an improved preamp with better low frequency response and more headroom than the previous model. The HD360 is a solid state, totally analogue bass amp, featuring a drive control with Tube Emulated Drive, EBS renowned built-in compressor/limiter (controlled from the front panel), powerful four-band EQ with Bright and Notch filters, Effects Loop run with mix-in filter, floating balanced XLR output with Speaker Simulator, Ground Lift and Post/pre EQ filter.
The instrument input jack offers phantom power output, which enables it to power an active bass or a single EBS Black Label pedal.
The EBS High Definition (HD) bass amp was originally launched in 2001. Upon release, it immediately caught the attention of Marcus Miller, who became an ambassador for the product. The HD350 has been acknowledged for it’s well designed preamp and has been a common sight in studio sessions by several high profile artists ever since, including Alex Al (Michael Jackson/Paul Simon) and Tal Wilkenfeld.
Made entirely in Sweden, the EBS HD360 is available from distributor Sound Technology now for £1,086 RRP.
