Live magazine, which is published along with the Mail on Sunday, had a page of 'best selling' charts last weekend (30th May) which showed the top ten of various categories of films, songs, albums and books, as well as, tucked away in the bottom right-hand corner, the top ten most popular drumkits.
Unusual enough in itself, but then adding to the surprise was the fact that Roland's V-Drums topped the chart with three of its kits: the TD-4 KX, the entry-level HD-1 and the TD-9 KX.
The stats' source, listed as Rose Morris.com, saw a further Roland kit at number seven, with four Yamaha kits (three acoustic) and two versions of the Gretsch Catalina completing the chart.
