This week’s biggest story was the news that retailer Gear4music has bought a brand new 50,000 sq ft head office in York.

The move comes as the business outgrew its previous offices at Clifton Moor after enjoying rapid growth and quadrupling its workforce over the past four years.

The significant investment in the new offices will provide improved facilities for Gear4music’s existing 210 staff, with room to further expand its workforce.
