Now in its eleventh year, the annual Newcastle Guitar Show is set to take place on Sunday 17th March in the Lancastrian Suite at Federation Brewery.
The event's planners, Northern Guitar Shows, have announced JHS and J G Windows as key sponsors, and have also revealed performers for the live stage.
Legendary blues rocker and former Argent frontman John Verity will be appearing with his signature Fret King guitar, as well as four-peice band TAB, which features the North East's own guitarist/vocalist Tom Atkinson who will be debuting songs from his new EP. Jazz/swing guitarist, Anth Purdy, will be on hand showcasing Wienbrock Amps and sponsor J G Windows will present a Roland Boss demo highlighting the latest gear straight from NAMM.
UK guitar manufacturers Patrick Eggle, Earn Guitars, Sugartone and MD Guitars are exhibiting new products along with retailers Music Gallery, J G Windows, Sounds Live, Frets Guitar Centre, Fret 21, Blues Shack, Market Music And Hound Dog Music.

JHS will be featuring its Vintage and Fret-King instruments while guitar parts and accessories are available from CH Guitars, Madison & Fifth, and Jackson International. Boutique amps, pedals and speakers are represented by Wienbrock Amps, DWJ Pedals, BLS Electronics and Tayden Speakers and custom pickups are available from Bulldog Pickups. Terry Pack Guitars and Chickenbone John among others will cater for the acoustic guitar contingent while Manchester Bass Lounge will hold down the low-end.
The Newcastle Guitar Show takes place Sunday, 17th March from 10am-4pm at the Lancastrian Suite, Federation Brewery, Lancaster Rd, Dunston, Gateshead, NE11 9JR. Admission is £6 at the door.
