Next year's MIRC is already on the calendar for Thursday, June 28th 2012, once again at the Brewery in London.
This year's event attracted over 250 retailers, representing more than 500 store-fronts, with 25 event partners.
The morning conference session, which was closed by CEO of UK Music, Feargal Sharkey's keynote speech, was packed out and saw an enthusiastic exchange of views between retail and suppliers during the two panel sessions.
Neil Clayton, MD of Monacor, said: "The show was a huge success and even better than last year. The expo again provided a unique atmosphere which allowed us to communicate with new and existing clients on a one to one basis. As a company we managed to double the amount of new accounts that we were hoping for and have come away knowing that it was a job well done for all involved."
"The Expo was once again a success for Tascam. We had excellent dealer traffic to our booth throughout and have valuable leads to follow up in the coming days. All in all a great event which looks like going from strength to strength,"said Tascam's division manager, Tony Gravel.
"Definitely worthwhile attending," said Barnes and Mullins marketing manager, Alex Mew. "Met with a good number of retailers of all sizes. We had a focused message, so were able to deliver a simple proposition to the retailers we met. Overall a very positive experience which I look forward to building upon next year."
"Yesterday was a great day and we thoroughly enjoyed it," said Thea Paraskevaides, director of Beaumont Woodwind.
