Korg UK has appointed three new regional managers for the Korg, Vox, Samson, Hartke and Walden brands.
Representing the South, Hayden Johnson has previously worked at Harrods' Musical Instrument Department, where he was responsible for sales, buying and promotions at the store. He received regular sales awards during his time there.
Covering the Midlands, Dan Weir was previously in sales at Blackstar and before that, PMT. He is also an accomplished guitarist and demonstrated for the amp manufacturer.
Responsible for the North, Dean Clarke joins the firm from Roland, where he held various sales roles, most recently Education Sales.
They join Paul Thirkettle and Oli Webb, who have taken on business development roles looking after key accounts. All five now report to Simon Hampshire, who has been promoted to divisional manager for the above brands.
“We listened to our customers who told us we needed to improve our coverage and simplify the way we do business,” said Rob Castle, managing director of Korg UK. “We believe the new structure will improve our service to our customers.”
