JHS shuffles sales deck

JHS has reshuffled its sales team with the appointment of a new sales manager for the North of England and the return of a familiar face for its Eastern region.

Steve Yelding (pictured) moves across to the new region after a stint as the firm's East Anglia and Home Counties rep. He has more than 30 years' experience in the trade, having worked in retail and also at Marshall for over 20 years, Laney for five years and also Headstock Distribution.

He commented: "I was really pleased to have been appointed to my previous sales territory, and have enjoyed my first six months with JHS enormously. With the strengths of what is the broadest range of products I’ve ever had to work with being a real eye opener to just how much JHS brings to so many dealers.

"June is a crucial time of year for the company, and I am looking forward to seeing what will now be my old dealers at JHS Event 2012 and to meeting my new ones.”

Dennis Drumm, JHS managing director added: "Steve has done a great job in his first six months with the company, and we are pleased to be able to transfer his decades of skills and experience to our 'Head Office/Home Turf territory', where I am sure that he will continue to ensure that our customers there get the attention and service they need and deserve."

His old territory in East Anglia and the Home Counties will be taken over by Tony Wilkins who returns to the firm.

Drumm added: “Tony Wilkins is one of the most professional salesmen I have encountered in my 35 years in the industry. I’m sure his customers will be as delighted to welcome him back with the JHS catalogue as we are to have him in the team again.”
