Aria Distribution has taken on UK distribution of the Eleuke ukulele brand.

The range was previously supplied by FCN Music, which is now being wound down after it failed to find a buyer or fresh investment.

Aria itself has lost a number of brands to Rosetti in recent months, but this move marks the start of a drive to introduce new brands to the supplier's portfolio.

“We are delighted to announce we have distribution on the Eleuke ukulele brand. All the ukuleles feature solid bodies and come with an input to plug in an MP3 player and a jack output for either headphones or an amp. All ukes come with Aquila strings,” said Aria MD Matt Joule.

“The Peanut (pictured) will retail at £79, the Tele style at £175 and £185 and the SL models at £169. All have proved extremely popular with players previously and we are expecting demand to be high. We have taken forward orders already from our initial shipment.”
