New 2,400-Watt range lets users control their sound wirelessly via iPad or iPhone.
Alto Professional has unveiled its all-new Black Series speakers at the Infocomm show in Las Vegas this week.
Each unit in the range provides 2,400 Watts of power. Designed and tuned in the USA, the speakers are DSP-controlled and include a custom crossover, superior tuning and active thermal protection. They also feature a built-in mixer with two Mic/Line combo inputs, volume controls and a balanced XLR mix output.
The Black Series lets users control their sound wirelessly. Using Alto's wireless speaker app for iPad and iPhone, the speakers can adapt easily to new venues, stream music in between sets, while settings can be tweaked remotely from anywhere in the room.
Each model offers an optimised 90 x 60-degree coverage field and an extensively tested high-frequency waveguide, providing maximum sonic impact. They are also highly durable – even the rubber feet are steel reinforced. The 18mm hardwood plywood cabinets are covered in a rugged scratch-resistant finish and come with custom-molded handles for easy transportation.
The range comprises ten-inch, 12-inch and 15-inch two-way speakers, as well as a 15-inch active subwoofer.
Numark Alesis is the UK distributor for Alto Professional.
