MANAGER, PRINTED MUSIC RETAIL Chappell of Bond Street is undoubtedly one of the world's most famous music retail names.

An exceptional opportunity exists to manage our prestigious Printed Music department within Yamaha’s flagship store on Wardour Street, in London’s vibrant Soho district.

Therefore we are currently seeking to recruit an experienced self motivated leader, with copious amounts of drive and self-discipline, to join the existing Chappell management team.

In this role you will report to the Store Manager, and will be responsible for maximizing store and online Printed Music sales, delivering budgeted sales and profit figures and promoting growth.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing a marketing action plan to drive sales, developing existing staff to assist the selling process and match the exacting customer service demands required by our consumers.

You will be expected to capitalize on Chappell of Bond Street’s existing position as the destination store for printed music in the UK and Europe.

To be considered for this role you must already have experience of managing a retail outlet, an in-depth understanding of retail inventory systems and stock processes along with an entrepreneurial vision for marketing printed music.

The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator who displays outstanding leadership and motivational skills, an insatiable desire for hard work and the ability to deliver outstanding results in a busy and demanding retail environment.

You shall also possess a high-level understanding of Microsoft Office software applications as reporting and analysis are key components of this position.
